Corruption is an evil and wicked behaviour. It is bribery or similar dishonest dealing. It has always been considered as a curse it is evilish to follow mischievous our deeds. It may be defined as a follow up the mischievous activities. An act, which is done in an illegal manner following an-fair means, would be corrupt.

Corruption in wider sense has always been there all the time. Now-a-days, it has been observed that if the head of the department is not fair, the whole department is involved in corrupt practices. The evil of corruption has widely spread in our social and practical life, as a cancer discase. The true reason for corruption is a desire to get rich by any means.  Originally police and P.W.D (Public Work Department) were notorious but now this evil has spread to almost every department of the government. Even courts of justice and education are no exception. There is not single faculty which is free from this condemned act.

Wide spread of corruption has created disappointment and discontent among the community. The machinery of government gets rusted and ceases to work in the intended manner. In a society governed by corrupt officials, the whole system of moral, ethical and religious values is impaired. Every student of history knows that one of the main causes of the down fall of nations has been corruption. Corruption has become prevalent all over Pakistan. It hurts the economy, people and government.

To remove corruption from the society, a complete change of the political social and economic system is necessary. For this purpose individuals of the society will have to follow spiritual honesty because corruption begins with dishonest intention. A person must be aloof from mischievous deeds and should try to follow right route of honesty, humbleness and good ness. For our good deeds we are rewarded by the Almighty Allah in this materialistic world as well as in the life of eternity. There are the some of the steps which can effectively root out this evil.

Commerce is a division of trade or production which deals with the exchange of goods and services from producer to final consumer it comprises the trading of something of economic value such as goods, services, information or money between two or more entities. Commerce involves trade and aids to trade which help in the exchange of goods and service we know that no one in this world can be self sufficient and we need others. For instance, if a person is an accountant he needs farmer for satisfying his needs of vegetables and food if a person is writer of course he can not be the mason or constructor. He will need a builder / constructor to construct his home but an accountant can provide his services to a firm / company for maintaining the books of account. A writer can write for magazine / newspaper.

In our routine life we exchange goods & services against money, what we have in excess we exchange with which we are deficient.

Not only individual exchange goods and services but companies institutions & countries also exchange goods and services locally and internationally if a country has a competitive advantage in technology it can export its excessive goods / services to other countries which are willing to buy it because they don’t have technology or they have differential advantage in another industry and they are using their resources in that field.

In short we feel that it is not necessary to have all the capabilities but we should have differential advantage in few fields that are most suitable for us according to our resources and capabilities. This is why, the commerce is very important in our routine life to the business life.

Education has been the prime function and vested interest of the developed and civilized nations it brings awareness in the people of society and makes people civilized responsible Education is also a main source of growth of society in every field of life.

We have different types of education science commerce, religious, etc. every type of education has its own importance. Science & Technology has made our work easy, quick and more efficient. It has played a vital role in our life on the contrary commerce education has helped us to grow our industry & economy. It has provided us many professionals who are capable of running the organization profitably, insuring huge return of investment discussing plan & policy for securing our money making our products familiar in the international and local markets, developing new financial products for higher profit with more security.

Economy is the extremely important concern for any country. As we cannot run a smaller business with out having sufficient commerce education, same way we cannot run our economy in the effective way without having qualified and responsible commerce professional. For a count it is very important to know that what will be the inflows and out flows of the fund that it could meet its expenditure. It has to keep inflation law insure employment persistent eco growth and have sufficient amount of funds in hand etc, but only commerce and eco professionals can address these issues.

As the science and technology is un-compromised concern today, the commerce & industry is also having the similar importance no project can be run without finance and planning for funds. Hence commerce education is the ultimate needs of the time which will make us capable to grow in every field of life in the international and local community.

It is a glistening fact the creation of a woman is a fine creative work of the Almighty Allah. She has been shouldered divine responsibilities. For the fulfillment of her duties, she has been awarded reverential grace.

It is Islam through which females have obtained true position in the society. Man and women have been rightly compared to the wheels of the same carriage. Islam realized the importance of women and granted them a very dignified position equal to man.

Women play a very vital role in human progress and have a signified place in the society. A woman is loving daughter of father. A polite wife and a kind hearted mother. The position of mother is very much exalted in Islamic traditions. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) has gone so far as to say “Paradise lies under neath the feet of your mother”. The most important role she plays is the role of a generous mother. She takes most care for her children from the age of infancy. It is the only personality of mother who faces innumerable and endless difficulties in the upbringing of her children so that they might be happy in their future life.

At present women hold a position of honour and dignity in Pakistan. Gone are the days when ladies were confined to the house. Today in our country women are playing very important role in the development of our country. They are working side by side with men in the offices, factories, radio, television etc. They are doctors, advocates, lecturers and engineers. They also obtained the positions as Ministers and Prime Minister.

Their visionary approach is very high and as such they are well determined, with their determination and objectivity, women have proved themselves to be very significant to move a society.

CHARLES
BY
SHIRLEY JACKSON
SUMMARY (CHARLES )
The title of the story is a young fake character as “Charles” it has been written by Shirley Jackson.

Laurie got admission in the Kindergarten School at the age of five years. He had first started to go to school wearing blue jeans with a belt accompanied with a next door older girl. Apparently like other children of his age he was not pleased to attend the school. On returning from the school on the very first day he shut the door with a bang and threw the cap on the floor and shouted in harsh manner “Isn’t any body here”. At lunch he spoke insolently to his father and also spilt milk of his baby sister. Even then his parents still thought him a well behaved lad.

To add the misery his small devilish mind created an imaginary classmate namely. Charles who is naughty, rude carless, noisy and trouble creating boy. Thus whatever problematic and naughty activities Laurie did in his school he related them to the fake character Charles. Each day when he returned home he brought a new report about Charles which he had done in the class room. Charles yelled in the class room. Charles hit or kicked the teacher. Charles hit a boy and made him cry or he made a girl say a bad word twice and he himself uttered bad words in the class room. He used to report Charles’s misdeeds in such a way that his parents were convinced that there existed a devilish child namely Charles who had created a kind of terror in the Kindergarten school.

One day Laurie told his parents that Charles was behaving well in the class and he was also helping his teachers with her work. Laurie told so much to his parents that they were eager to meet Charles’s mother. They wondered how Charles’s mother managed such a mischievous boy. Parent teacher meeting are regularly conducted in school for discussion of the progress of the students. When parent teacher meeting was called in the school Laurie’s mother visited his son’s school. She tried to locate Charles’s mother to express her sympathizing emotions, but in vain. Later on she was surprised to know that there was no Charles at Kindergarten school. It is Laurie who made some problems for teacher but after words he behaved well. It was actually Laurie who invented the character of Charles to express his inner desire in the character of Charles.

MORAL OF THE STORY.
Its moral is that “Extra affection spoils the child” Further parents should not believe every thing what our children tell us. They should keeps a check on them in order to know their activities.

It was well expressed from her face that she was un-happy with her marriage. Even Mary wanted to tell Bill something about her life but she did not have time or courage to do so. Answer: Probably Mary wanted to ask when they would meet again and she also wanted to tell that her youngest son was named ‘Bill’ In the first casual meriting, she could not talk much about the past memories of their young age and she was unable to express her feelings of love after the separation which she felt. She wanted to say that she strongly missed Bill the person to whom she had married did not love her much. She did not mention her husband’s name and profession. Instead, she told Bill about her job and about her children. I think Mary actually wanted to express her love for Bill, but she could not do so in the first meeting which was so brief.

Chapter: Early Autumn
written by: Langston Hughes

This story has been written by an English writer Langston Hughes.

Bill walker and Marry both loved each other when they were young. Then they walked together, talked together and spent many nights together. They did many things but they neither thought of a marriage nor do they seem serious about it. Mary wanted that Bill would propose to her but he did not. They got angry at some un-important matter. Bill left Mary. Growing impulsive Mary married a man of her choice whom she found to be a suitable mate to build a family. Bill left Mary and went away with bitter feelings about woman.

Time and tide wait for no man. Bill also married a girl Lucille whom he later loved and grew father of two children. Many years later, they met each other by chance on the way and they had close talk about their past. Mary and Bill asked each other about their families. Mary told Bill that she worked in Busra’s office and she had three children Bill told Mary that he was lawyer and had two kids. Both of them invited each other to see each other and Bill invited Mary and her family to join at the dinner on some night.

They had a short meeting and could not talk much with each other. She also could not tell Bill that the name of her youngest son was also Bill.

Strange enough they could not tell each other about their present addresses because Mary’s bus arrived and she got in the bus hurriedly and hardly she could utter Good-bye and again they separated probably for ever.

Mary looked unhappy and discontented with her marriage life. Autumn came in her life very soon and the days of happiness were passed in the wink of an eye.
